What types of information are there and where can you find this information? Not all information is suitable for all purposes. At times you may wish to know the most recent developments in your field, at other you may need figures to support your report.
All of this information can be found in a variety of resources. Some information resources offer only company data, other newspaper articles.
Before you start searching, it is therefore sensible to get a good idea of the various types of information and corresponding resources. Do you have an outline of the resources available? In that case, you can make a list of the relevant resources for your specific search question. You will then use this to conduct your search.
